ABOUT ME

At 37 years old, coach Tom has been involved in football for over 30 years. A talented youth player, Tom trained at Charlton Athletic's youth academy from 7 to 14 years old so understands the academy world first hand.

At 18 he was offered a scholarship to study and play football at the University of Bath where he studied for a BA degree in Coach Education & Sports Development. Whilst at the university he completed his level 1 and 2 FA coaching badges. After graduating, Tom accepted an offer to coach in New York City as head coach of Pelham Soccer Club which he did for 2 years.

Upon returning to the UK Tom spent 6 months working in Wales at Cardiff City's academy and completed his UEFA B license (level 3) in football coaching with the Wales FA alongside coaches such as Mikel Arteta, Thierry Henry and Pepijn Lijnders. From here, Tom undertook roles at West Ham United's academy and Southampton before being offered the job as head coach of professional women's side the London Bees.

When Covid struck, Tom found himself inundated with enquiries to train players on a 1-2-1 basis. He then caught the bug for individual player development and has not looked back since. Tom now focusses on individual player training and also player representation. He is a FIFA licensed football agent and founded the football agency PBS Football in 2022, combining working with players through training, mentorship and representation.
